2024 Annual Report

This past year has been one of progress and success for the Wausau Free Clinic. It marks our 2nd full year of operation in the Community Partners Campus. Our services continue to grow in comprehensiveness and quality. In addition to provider and nursing visits, we are now able to offer our low income, uninsured patients access to a broad array of no-charge ancillary and support services, including: medications, labs, imaging, diabetic education, physical therapy, and mental health evaluation and counseling. These services are provided by our small but dedicated staff, our incredible core of 40+ volunteers, and the generosity of area health systems and organizations, which donate their services.

2023 Annual Report

This has been a remarkable and pivotal year in so many ways. It marks our first year in state-of-the-art medical facilities in the new Community Partners Campus. We hired our first full time clinic coordinator, Kim Shibilski, a Wausau native with training as an EMT-Paramedic. Kim had been a faithful volunteer for several years before joining paid staff. We hosted three AmeriCorps/VISTA workers during the year.

2022 Annual Report

This year has been remarkable in many ways. This was our second full year of serving low income, uninsured residents of the area in need of primary medical care. We have been open to see patients every Thursday afternoon (except Thanksgiving and Christmas week).

2021 Annual Report

The year 2021 has been a momentous one for the FPC Wausau Free Clinic. Despite the pandemic, after getting our staff and volunteers immunized against Covid-19 in January, we opened on Thursday afternoons to serve anyone in the community who is low income, uninsured and in need of basic primary medical care.
