August 2024 Jefferson Award

WAUSAU (WAOW) — The Wausau Free Clinic and its three founders, Dr. Jeff Oswald, Jeff Todd, and Paula Vogt are our Jefferson Award honorees.

"I am proud of the clinic - it reflects the support we get from the community," Dr. Jeff Oswald said.

The clinic provides free health care to people who are low-income or uninsured.

It started as an outreach project with doctors and nurses volunteering to see patients at the community warming center.

Now, it's housed in the Community Partners Campus on Grand Avenue.
